Market Analysis Report

Theme: Defining the Future Vision of Dental and Oral Health

Oral Health is the absence of active disease in the mouth. It affects overall wellbeing and enables people to participate in their chosen roles without discomfort or embarrassment. Oral health is a basic expectation of all Australians. Oral health and disease are important in their own right and for their association with general health. Dental amalgam, also known as ‘silver fillings’, have been used as a reliable, efficient, long-lasting and safe filling material for over 100 years. The science concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the teeth, gums, and related structures of the mouth and including the repair or replacement of defective teeth is Dentistry.
