Geriatric and Ethno Dentistry
Geriatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry that focuses on the specific needs of the aging population.If a person receives geriatric dental health care on a regular basis, they can prevent certain oral diseases and other diseases related with them such as stroke, diabetes, and heart disease.
The use of medicinal plant resources (herbs) in resolving dental problems is increasing gradually nowadays and is called ethno dentistry. Here Herbal plants are used for curing the tooth pain and act as a bacterial agent in the elimination of dental plaques. Natural concentrates have been utilized as a part of dentistry for lessening irritation, and act as antimicrobial plaque operators, cell reinforcements, antimicrobials, antifungals, anti-bacterial, antivirals for controlling microbial dental plaque in gingivitis and periodontitis.
